Welcome to our website, thanks for looking in. I imagine if you're looking for curtains, soft furnishings or lights in the Essex area you’ve visited loads of sites all offering a high standard of personal service, a large selection of fabrics, etc etc etc. And they probably all will, but, now you’ve found us, relax, get a cup of tea or glass of wine and enjoy having a look around our site, we will try to take all the stress out of your soft furnishing needs.
We opened in September 2006 born out of the very sad closure of Bolingbroke and Wenley in Chelmsford. I as the Soft Furnishing Department Manager decided I couldn’t think of anything I liked doing more, so, with the support of suppliers and friends, decided to open my own shop and take some of the B & W staff with me, so here we are we`ve had an amazing start meeting some lovely new customers and are now branching out with our website, so hope you like it, please let me have your comments if you have the time.
Our range & services
We have a free measuring and estimating service, our fitter will come to your home, he even takes his shoes off before entering, and advise you on the best window dressing, track or pole for your window, he carries with him a large curtain and blinds style book which includes swags tails and pelmets, and, catalogues of poles and tracks so you can go through them with him all without any obligation. For those of you who like to make your own curtains we can also work out the quantities and supply you with just the fabric and linings from any of our ranges. You can download a measure sheet to help us work out these for you, or bring in for us to work out the made up curtain prices.
There are lots of other services we offer including lampshades made to order,
re upholstery, loose covers, blinds of all descriptions including outdoor
awnings and canopies but to be honest I`ll run out of space and you`ll get
bored reading it so I hope that I have given you a taste of what we can do
